Hello Everyone,
Disappointing start to the week as we go 1-2 in free plays here at the site. Its never fun to talk about losses, but lets recap what happened. The NBA free play was on the New Orleans Pelicans, who I thought would come into their game vs the Kings with some momentum after a big win vs the Grizzlies. Unfortunately it was back to the same usual deal for the Pelicans, as they looked lifeless in the first quarter. The Pelicans allowed the Kings to get roughly a 20 point lead and that turned out to be the equalizer as the Pelicans could never recover. A lot of this has to do with coaching, and I think Monty Williams did an awful job last night. It also doesn’t help that their is no support for this team in New Orleans. So we took the loss very early on with the Pelicans moneyline. The next play was a college basketball teaser with Harvard and Connecticut. Just like I thought Connecticut destroyed Temple, but Harvard completely no showed and had one of the worst shooting days of the season by any team. At one point Harvard was 4 of 23 from the field. What a nightmare for us. So two quick free play losses. The last play of the night was in Hockey. I said to you that the Canucks would play inspired hockey after losing their head coach. Thats just what the Canucks did. They crushed multiple power plays by the Oilers, and really just brought the fight to them. This was a motivated club looking for a fight. It was the right side the whole way and were able to easily cash our moneyline play. So again a losing night is what it is, a losing night. Ideally we can still go 2-1 every night this week and turn a profit for our bankrolls. So lets keep grinding guys and trying to get back into winning form.
NBA FREE PICK:
I am going with the OVER tonight in the Bucks / Pistons game. Both these teams are lousy at defense which should make for lots of scoring. Both teams allow over 100 points a game on average. The Bucks allow 100.6 points a game and the Pistons allow 102.9. Just awful. Pistons games are 29-12 to the OVER and the Bucks are 20-20 to the OVER. Pistons are 13-7 to the OVER in road games. The Pistons are also 17-7 to the OVER versus poor defensive teams allowing more then 99 points a game. The Bucks and Pistons games have gone OVER on 18 of the last 35 games since 1996. Also 3 of the last 5 games have gone OVER in this serious.

COLLEGE FREE PICK:
Tonight I am taking a shot with College of Charleston taking on league opponent North Carolina-Wilmington. Wilmington is one of the worst teams in basketball, and is seen as the conference punching bag at this point. Wilmington is 2-10 ATS in lined games this year. Wilmington has lost its last 9 games as well and just seems to be in a tailspin. Charleston is coming off a painful loss to Towson at home. No doubt the coach has been laying into this team all week. They are gonna come out angry and look to destroy Wilmington. Charleston is 6-2 ATS vs Wilmington. I’m willing to lay the points in a game where the line makers probably just ignored it.

HOCKEY FREE PICK:
The Redwings have been playing some of the best teams in Hockey lately and its keeps getting worse for them as they get to play the Blackhawks tonight. They cant feel confident with Jimmy Howard in goal after getting destroyed by rival St. Louis. Reports say he might be out for this game anyways. The Redwings also are dealing with several injuries to 1st and 2nd lines. The Blackhawks are the number 1 scoring team in the league and also the 5th best at converting power plays into goals. I see this game as a bloodbath for the Redwings. The misery continues. Im gonna give the puckline a shot here.
