Finally guys, we had a winning night here at the site! Sometimes when you’re going through such long losing streaks you forget what it’s like to win. There is no better feeling then coming here to the site on nights like this and talking about how we can still get plus money for the week. Every night is about building the bankroll. Last night we had two plays in the NBA. I have been struggling with that league to start the year, but we got things to go our way finally. When I spoke to you at the site yesterday, I said I thought there was a definite talent mismatch between the Celtics and the Thunder. I was under the impression that Kevin Durant was also playing though! We would come find out that he was in fact not playing, and because of this the line went crazy falling almost 4 points. Didn’t matter though, as I told you to stick by the original bet on twitter. There is something about a team when it loses its megastar that makes all the other players come out and work hard. The Thunder role players showed up hungry tonight and gave great effort. So we were able to cash that free play with ease. We also had a free play on the Pelicans / Pistons to go OVER the total. Boy oh boy was that a scary game. At one point it looked like the Pelicans were just going to roll over and let the Pistons win by 20… Nope the Pelicans would gain some momentum against that awful Pistons defense, and win the game out right! Both teams hit their average of 100 points a game as the final score was 103-101. Just great when a game gets capped based on stats, and it continues to follow those trends. I’m hungry for another winning night guys, but were still going to keep our play count lowered. This system seems to working much better for our bankrolls, as were now only 5-7 this week. We have the weekend and Monday to still get on the plus side.

NBA FREE PICK:
I am going with the OVER tonight in the Bucks / Hawks game. Both these teams are lousy at defense which should make for lots of scoring. Both teams allow over 100 points a game on average. The Bucks allow 100.6 points a game and the Hawks allow 101.3. Just awful. Hawks games are 25-17 to the OVER and the Bucks are 21-20 to the OVER. Hawks are 13-7 to the OVER in road games. The Hawks are also 14-7 to the OVER versus poor defensive teams allowing more than 99 points a game. The Bucks and Hawks games have gone OVER on 21 of the last 34 games since 1996. Also 4 of the last 4 games have gone OVER in this series.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL FREE PICK:
Yes Southern Utah is one of the worst basketball squads in the country, but they have played much better the last couple weeks and have got on an ATS covering spree. This line is grossly inflated to stave away public action. Portland State is arguably a bad home team, in the games that have mattered at home they have struggled or been in way to close of a game. They looked completely lifeless in 2nd half versus Northern Arizona. I don’t know if that was altitude affecting them or the loss of Aaron Moore finally catching up to this team scoring wise. Since his suspension they’re 2-3 in the league. Portland State will be coming off 6 days’ rest that can have a negative effect on some teams. Southern Utah played pretty good ball versus Eastern Washington last time out putting up 83 points. I like Southern Utah to play with some pride tonight, and look for them to keep this game within 10 points. Southern Utah as a 15-18 point underdog is 3-1 ATS. Southern Utah did beat this club last year so that will be on their minds.

HOCKEY FREE PICK:
Tonight the last free play will be in Hockey. If you’re not in love with how the Jets have been playing, then you must not truly be a fan of winning hockey. They are grinding out wins and playing some decent hockey on the road lately. The Maple Leafs are also playing some good Hockey, but they have been beating up some bad clubs. The road might be starting to affect the Maple Leafs, who got absolutely leveled by the Stars. Believe me hotel beds do not feel as good as the ones at home. This is a beat up hockey team, no doubt. After losing a game like that to the Stars, the Maple Leafs have the look of we have been here before lets pack it in for rest of the road trip. The Jets will want to pound their big brother in their home building. The Jets are 3-1 in their last 4 games versus the Maple Leafs. There is a lot of line value too with this Jets moneyline. I personally thought it would be a lot higher in the -150 range but its currently sitting anywhere from -130 to -125. I get the more mentally fit club and a team that’s coming off some nice wins versus the Western conference. The Maple Leafs have not beat the Leafs since February 7th 2013. Really looks to be a great spot to catch the soaring Jets team at a great price.
